Frequently asked questions

Why do you charge a fixed fee instead of a percentage?

A traditional agent charges on average 1.38%. On a €500,000 home that is roughly €7,000, and that agent earns more when you pay more. For the same amount of work. We charge a fixed fee, whatever the purchase price. Fairer that way.

Are there any other costs?

Yes. As a minimum you pay a mortgage adviser, an appraiser and a notary. You also pay transfer tax on existing homes (first-time buyers under 35 may be exempt). A structural survey is strongly recommended, and NHG mortgage guarantee applies to homes up to €470,000. All in, expect roughly 4 to 6% of the purchase price. These costs can often be financed within your mortgage. We explain how during the intake call.

How does your no key, no fee guarantee work?

Simple: if we do not find you a home within 3 months, the success fee is waived and your start fee is refunded. You are also free to continue with us at no extra cost. We then keep working just as hard to buy your home.

Do you ask for exclusivity?
